ABOUT THE ARTIST
Shane Morrow
I am from Somerset, Kentucky. My love for art started when I was just a kid watching my mother paint. Even at such a young age, I remember thinking how amazing it would be to be able to paint like her. I didn’t pick up a paint brush until 2012 though. I began watching art videos on YouTube by Jason Bowen and carefully following along. I then began watching Bob Ross and really studying the Wet-on-Wet technique. I sold my first painting in 2014. This gave me the confidence I needed to really fine tune my skills. Over the years, I have studied under both Dana Jester (Bob's best friend) and Steve Ross (Bob's son), attending several of their workshops. I create acrylics, floral and some wildlife paintings as well. I had the honor of traveling to Muncie, Indiana to attend a three-week landscape training, where Bob's show The Joy of Painting was actually filmed, to become a Certified Ross Instructor. Becoming a certified Ross instructor was an incredibly proud day for me. I love all things art! I look forward to sharing my love and knowledge of painting with everyone!
Special Classes
Private Classes
Private classes are $70 for 1- 5 people. 6-10 people are $55 a person. A group of 11 or more is $40 a person. All supplies are included in the price. Call 606-219-3688 or come by the studio to schedule and pick your painting subject for the class.
Group Rates
Corporate Groups, Church Groups, Birthday Parties. Group rates of 10 or more are $40 a person. That is a savings of $200 off of my normal classes. We supply everything with these events. To schedule a group class, call

You CAN paint!!!!
I have had so many people tell me that they would love to be able to paint but they can't even draw a stick figure!! You do not need any artistic experience!! Just a desire to learn!! If you have ever watched Bob Ross and The Joy of Painting on TV or YouTube, then you have heard him say that "everyone can paint". He is correct. With just a little practice and a little instruction you can experience The Joy of Painting in your life. I would love to be your instructor!!
